We believe everyone should have the choice to take part in adventure sports.

Looking beyond the label, our person- centred approach remains at the forefront, thus making access to sport inclusive, not exclusive.
Since piloting the first autism specific surf in Scotland in 2015, we proudly launched Scotland’s first fully adaptive and inclusive surf school, SurfABLE Scotland, in November 2017, providing the world’s most northerly surf therapy programme for all (age 5 – adult), including low mobility and wheelchair users.
The project primarily operates in Lossiemouth and Sandend. We also cover Caithness to Aberdeen.
The exhilaration of motion through water and sense of achievement aside, lessons teach participants surfing, beach safety, sea survival, swimming and weather/surf conditions. Surfing develops physical fitness, balance, builds confidence and promotes positive mental health. The real bonus is the social interaction and communication, achieved through creating a common shared interest. We also welcome and invite family members and carers to participate, making the experience fully enjoyable and fun for all.
